* The BMVM is an organization dedicated to local filmmaking in WNY. Individuals who have an interest in film, or filmmaking, are encouraged to become members.  Members include people interested in any or all aspects of filmmaking (acting, directing, writing, producing, etc.) as well as those interested in animation, set design, costume making, voice acting, and those who simply want to help on a local film project.  Members' projects have included everything from documentary short films, to full-length feature productions, and a TV Pilot show.   Most Meetings include an educational component, showing/sharing works-in-progress of members projects,  review of information culled from outside sources but relevent to filmmaking, and general discussion on a variety of topics. Members also are eligible to participate in the annual contests operated by the organization.  We encourage both novices as well as experienced filmmakers, individuals who simply want to know nore about the local independent filmmaking scene, and anyone who simply loves film or wants to help out on a future project.
