Henry Colbert, 31, is a single guy who, after a decade of partying and a plethora of girlfriends, decides what he really wants more than anything is a real relationship. After a chance meeting with renowned psychic, Madam Pauline, who comments on matters only Henry would understand, his curiosity is peaked. With nothing to lose, Henry decides he will see if love will ever be his. After a few dates it’s apparent they’re more mismatched souls than matching hearts, but Henry doesn’t care because his desire to be in love trumps everything and everyone else. Madam Pauline tells Henry many things, including that danger, wealth, and new life will all be part of his future. When he questions her about love, Madam Pauline provides Henry with a pleasant surprise – a woman will enter his life shortly that could bring him true love and happiness – IF- he can get over a difficulty or confusion that will require great patience on his part.
Within a few days many of the happenings Madam Pauline indicated occur. Then, three days later, what henry was truly waiting for happens - a man named Cathy, who fits ALL the criteria Madam Pauline told him, walks into his life. But -she’s not interested in dating! Believing this is the difficulty Pauline spoke of, Henry uses humor and persistence to persuade Cathy to change her mind.

That serenity doesn’t last long, though, before a second pivotal event ends with Henry slamming the door on their relationship, this time forcing Cathy to offer reconciliation. Each rocky event in their relationship forces Henry to think, seeding the belief that Cathy needs more than anything in her life is one person to make a commitment to her they follow through on. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, he visits a jewelry store, willing to solidify his new understanding of their relationship with diamonds.
